This
facility is renowned for
bringing the cheetah back
from the brink of extinction
through its captive breeding
programmes and for its
breeding success of rare and
endangered species. The
very rare King Cheetah was
first bred here and similar
success was achieved in
breeding Wild Dog, Brown
Hyena, Blue Duiker, Suni
Antelope and some species of
vultures and owls. Guided
tours enable visitors to see
animals up close and learn
of their nature and habitat.

In the early 1900's the
Magaliesberg Mountains were rich
in wildlife and home to abundant
elephants. One hundred years
later the elephants have
returned to this area. A special
place in the heart of beautiful
African Bushveld, has been set
aside, and within this
sanctuary, you will meet our
elephants: Mosadi, Maroela,
Khumba, Thandi and Jabu. At the
sanctuary, under professional
supervision and control, guests
can observe and interact with
the elephants. |

in 1500 ha providing a varied

Among the more unusual game
parks is a 200ha
lion reserve. Visitors
drive along a winding
road through the game area,
where they may see black
wildebeest, gemsbok, impala,
blesbok, zebra and ostrich. Then
travel through
the lion compounds. Have
your photo taken with a cub.

The Rhino &
Lion Nature Reserve is a privately owned, non-subsidized game reserve,
covering approximately 1600ha situated in the
"Cradle of Humankind", a
declared World Heritage Site.
There are more than 20 species
andover 600 head of game

buffalo. Special compounds have
been eredcted for wild dog and
cheetah. Birds of Prey

aviaries and galleries in this
