Why Advertise with the MBABA

MBABA currently has 29 members owning guesthouses, b&b’s and Lodges in Midrand with a total of 195 letting rooms housing a potential of 400+ visitors to Midrand daily.
Advertisers on the website and/or brochure can have their own brochures displayed free of charge at each member’s establishment.
Advertisers’ venues, services or products will be personally promoted by the owners of all member establishments.
The brochures will be distributed by a Brochure Management Company to a minimum of 60 tourist related centres throughout South Africa including airports and tourist information offices. Replenishment of brochures will be done monthly.
Additionally MBABA brochures will be promoted at the tourist and travel industry fairs and shows held in South Africa, the World Travel Fair in London in November 2003 and the ITB in Berlin in 2004.
The Website, although relatively new, is already reaping success as being one of the best locally informative accommodation sites in Gauteng. Marketing of the site will shortly include promotion to travel agents both country wide and internationally as well as purchasing premier positions in search engines.

Brochure Ads - Brochures will be glossy, full colour and A3 in size when open. For distribution they will be folded in half and then in three panels. Annual printing will be +/- 8000 with an initial print run at the beginning of September 2003 of 5000.
Examples of sizes and costs are given below. Premium position ads will be on the back page of the brochure when folded.

Among the more unusual game parks is a 200ha lion reserve. Visitors drive along a winding road through the game area, where they may see black wildebeest, gemsbok, impala, blesbok, zebra and ostrich. Then travel through the lion compounds. Have your photo taken with a cub. Restaurant; curio shop; braai area; night drives and guided tours.

Located at the top of 50 individual pages within the website. A maximum of 5 banner ads are rotated continuously giving the ad a display of 10 seconds every 50 seconds.
